Teruko “Terry” Paige, of Glen Burnie, passed away on October 29, 2018. She was born January 1, 1926 in Tokyo, Japan. She was a longtime resident of Anne Arundel County where she raised three daughters. She was employed by the Anne Arundel County School system then later with Westinghouse, where she retired after nearly 20 years of service. She was involved in many school activities such as PTA secretary and plays at HighPoint Elementary. At her home, she was an avid gardener, grafting roses and flower arranging throughout the year. With her daughters, she traveled extensively to Europe, Japan, Hawaii and cruised the Caribbean. She was a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Maryland basketball, and followed other sports like tennis and figure skating. But most of all she was a sweet happy soul and brought smiles to everyone she would meet. She is survived by daughters, Sandi Paige of Pasadena, Felicia Sachs and husband, Bob of Myrtle Beach, SC and Letitia Harrison and her husband, Philip of Clifton VA and Dorney, UK; and her brother, Mitsuo Okano of Chiba, Japan. She will also be missed by her furry pets, BumBum and Tiffany. Terry was preceded in death by her 1st husband, William H Paige and 2nd husband, Edward Hand.
