TAYLOR Terry Duane Taylor, a.k.a. “TD” Taylor 75 (age), Columbus, OH, passed away on January 16, 2018. He was born on October 5, 1942, in Circleville, OH to Frank and Nora Lucille (Sollars) Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Larry W Taylor. He is survived by his wife Tressie Hastings, sons Timothy (BettyAnn) Taylor, Mt. Sterling, Larry (Ann) Hastings, Jr., Farmington, MN, daughter Diane (Brett) Bonnell, Athens, AL, grandchildren Josh McCabe, Christopher Slane, Emily & Laura Crosby, Charlie & Allie Hastings, and Sarah Bonnell, and great grandchildren Vaughn Sylvia, Tristyn, Taylor, & Kensley McCabe, and Olivia Slane. In-laws include June Brooks, Clarice Bailey, Jack (Dixie) Cox, Bertha Cox, Donald Cox, and Gary (Karen) Cox. He is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and good friends. He was a 1960 graduate Southeastern High School, attended OU and graduated from Rio Grande College and also attended Xavier University. He was a member and retired auditor of the American Correctional Association, Ohio Grand Lodge, and Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus. His career included being a teacher at London High School from 1964-71, summer school teacher Ohio Youth Commission 1967 & 1969, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction 1969-1994. Terry held a variety of positions with the ODRC including with London Correctional Institution, old Ohio Penitentiary (last warden), Orient Correctional Institution and Central Office. He enjoyed camping and fishing at Hargus Lake, Circleville, for more than 20 years.
