Terry Raymond Timmons aka “Hippie”, 62 of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Odin Healthcare Center. Hippie was born August 17, 1956 in Centralia, son of Ira Timmons and Margaret (Allen) Timmons.
He is survived by two children: Nicole Setzekorn and husband Chad of Centralia and Onashay Haeffner of Granite City; three grandchildren: Dylan Jansen of Centralia, Indy Smith and Kenny Smith both of Granite City; four brothers: Jerry Timmons of Junction City, Ed Timmons and wife Sharon, Rodney Timmons and wife Sue of Wamac, and Jeff Timmons and wife Shelia of Cheyenne, Wyoming; seven sisters: Diane Horn of Port Huron, Michigan, Sue Owen and Husband Larry of Centralia, Cheryl Timmons of Walnut Hilll, Fonda Timmons Smith of Flora, JoAnn Timmons from Baytown, TX, Tammy Beppler and husband John of Xenia, and Paula Hemenover and husband Merv of Salem; several nieces and nephews; special friend: Becky Wimberly of Centralia; two best friends: Bear Ashby and Bob Rippy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers: Bob Timmons, Ira J. Timmons, Hobert Timmons, Steve Timmons, Larry Timmons, Billy Timmons, two sisters: Pat Timmons Vinson and Nancy Timmons Thompson and half brother, Tim Timmons. Hippie worked in Construction for 45 years.
He enjoyed mushroom and deer hunting. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.
