Terry Marshall “Mark” Dennis, Jr., 52, of New London, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at his home.
Mark was born July 15, 1970 in North Carolina to Terry Marshall Dennis, Sr. and Martha Hensley Dennis.
Survivors include wife of 24 years, Teresa Medlin Dennis of New London, NC; mother, Martha Hensley Dennis; father, Terry Marshall Dennis, Sr.; sons, Marshall “Alex” Dennis and Owen Brady Dennis; siblings, Lauri Dennis (Eddie) Williams of Lilesville, NC and Kyle (Kendra) Dennis of Troy, NC; and he was very proud of his nieces and nephews.
Mark was known widely in the community as “Coach Mark” with the Albemarle Parks and Recreation Department and next to “Dad” that was his favorite role. Mark was the owner of Dennis Land Surveying in Albemarle for 12 years and proudly led Dewberry Inc. Surveying Department for the last 10 plus years. He loved his career, being outdoors, and going to the beach. Mark loved his family more than anything and was the best father and husband anyone could ever ask for.
