Terry Marie White Howard was born on November 22, 1960 to Willie Mae Johnson-White and Pastor Phill White Sr. in Indianapolis, Indiana. To this union, Terry was the 7th of nine children.
Terry , more commonly known as “Mama T”, graduated from Shortridge High School in 1979. She was a loyal and dedicated employee at United Health for over 35 years. She was well respected and loved by co-workers and everyone she came into contact with. She had a glowing spirit radiant smile that lit up a room.
Terry professed her love for Christ at an early age.
Terry married Walter Howard, Jr. September 7, 1987, in which three sons were born. With a strong motherly instinct, not only did she enjoy taking care of her children and grandchildren.
She found joy in spreading her love to nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She possessed a true gift of loving each and every one as if they were her own children.
Terry M. White Howard went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2019 at the age of 58. Terry was preceded in death by her father, Pastor Phill White Sr., brother, Donald D. White, and sister, Georgia A. White-Holman.
Terry leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Willie Mae White; her sons, Daron M. Howard (Angelena), Devon M. Howard (Alexandria), Derrick M. Howard (Tyla); brothers, Phill White Jr. (Brenda), Larry L. White (Michelle), Rev. Eric L. White (Karen), Mark A. White (Devona); sisters, Bernice White and Cynthia A. White; ex-husband, Walter Howard, Jr.
Terry had a passion for family and always wanted the best for everyone she came into contact with. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, but her warm, sweet spirit will always be with us. Although we loved her.
Rest in heavenly peace, until we see you again!
