Brother Terry Lynn Murdaugh, Sr. son of the late Joe Floyd Murdaugh and Daisy Bell Ayers was born October 11, 1959, in Ashton, SC. Brother Murdaugh entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Community Hospice in Vidalia, GA.
Terry received his education in the public schools of Colleton County, SC. He graduated from Ruffin High School in 1977. In 1977, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served faithfully for 22.5 years and retired in 1999 with Rank of Sergeant First Class. His tours of duty included Alaska, California, Georgia, Germany, Haiti, Korea and North Carolina. Upon retirement from the Army, Terry worked for UniFirst, L-3 Communications, Eagle Group, and Lockheed Martin.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Daisy Murdaugh and a sister Evelyn Bowers.
