TERRY LEE GOFF, age 63, of Gay Street, Grafton, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV. He was born in Philippi, Barbour County, WV, January 15, 1947, a son of the late William Burton Goff and Marguerite Grace (Watson) Goff. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth (Prince) Goff; they were united in marriage January 20, 1965.
Terry was a Vietnam War veteran having served in the US Army. He worked at AGC Industries (formerly Fourco Glass) for 32 years. He was quick to help anyone in need, especially his family. He loved the Taylor County Senior Citizens Center and all his friends there. Terry was a wonderful family man and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: four sons, Terry Goff, Jr., Rodney Goff and his wife Reba, Chad Goff and his wife Jennifer, and James Goff and his companion Gloria Wilson, all of Grafton; two daughters, Katie Goff and Elizabeth Goff, both of Grafton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, William Goff, Jr., and Steven Goff, both of Virginia; three sisters, Mrs. (Ralph) Joy Prince, of Clarksburg, Kay Maul, of Shinnston, and Donna Bean, of Washington; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Goff and Ronald Goff.
