Terry Joseph “Rock” Miller, 61, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at Northwestern
Terry was born May 3, 1960 in Ottawa to James F. and Barbara A. (Zimmerman) Miller. He was a graduate of Marquette High School and attended Ft. Lauderdale School of Art.
He worked at Exelon Corp and retired in 2017. Terry loved to travel and enjoyed many vacations with his “travel framily.” He loved life in the big city and was able to work and live there before his retirement.
He returned to Ottawa to be closer to his family, especially his mother. Terry gave selflessly and expected nothing in return. His list of friends was endless and the stories countless.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara; three brothers, Stephen (Donna) Miller of Ottawa, Gary (Mary Beth) Miller of Ottawa, John (Sharon) Miller of Grand Ridge; two sisters, Susan (Chas.) Raikes of Marseilles, and Beth Miller of Ottawa; lifelong friends, Lisa Callaway and Dee Allen; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bella. He was preceded in death by his father, James and a brother, Michael “Josie” Miller.Memorials may be directed to the family
