Terry Joe Wilkerson, 51, of Shobonier passed away Friday, September 29, 2017, at his home. Terry was born on July 27, 1966, in Centralia, the son of Tommy Wilkerson and Mary Lou (Woods) Royer.
Terry is survived by one daughter: Annie Wilkerson of Mt. Vernon, IL; three brothers: Eugene Wilkerson of Ohio, Carl Wilkerson and wife Linda of Shobonier and Jeff Wilkerson and wife Mary of Shobonier; two sisters: Patty Wilkerson and husband Charles Rowcliff of Shobonier and Cindy Brown of Junction City; stepmother: Patricia Wilkerson of Shobonier; three uncles: Brian Wilkerson of Kentucky, Patrick Wilkerson of Michigan and Chuck Wilkerson of Mt. Vernon, IL; two aunts: Mary Alice Reynolds of Patoka, IL and Carlyon Schaffer; special friend: Deborah Coffey of Shobonier; his foster brothers and sisters, especially Anitalynn Katz; many nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Tommy Wilkerson and Mary Lou Royer; maternal and paternal grandparents; one uncle: Bruce Wilkerson; one nephew: Tyson Wilkerson and aunt: Shirley Woods. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family especially his daughter, Annie. He enjoyed raising many animals throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. He also loved his electronics.
