Terry H. Zierke, 77 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Kenneth Zierke and Ann Kaprelian Zierke. Mr. Zierke had made his home in Lake City for the past 46 years having moved here from Miami. He was a General Contractor for many years and started his journeyman training in 1964. Mr. Zierke had previously served as the chairman on the Columbia Builders Association and also served for many years as a Deltec Consultant building hurricane resistant structures across the United States and Caribbean.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Zierke, Lake City and Freeport; two daughters, Debra Belo, Loudon, NH and Dessie Howard (Alexander Rincon), Gainesville; one sister, Jane Schatzman, Racine, WI; eight grandchildren, Tylor Pace, Jordan Morse, Garrett Teran, Evelyn Belo, Kayden Rhodes, Korbyn Palmer, Karsyn Palmer and Tatiana Palmer; and two great-grandchidlren, Kylie Maria Pace and Zander Daniel Morse also survive.
