Terry Lynn Gorton Guerrero

Terry Guerrero was born May 12, 1942 in Kalispell MT to James and Mary Gorton of Creston. She passed away on September 14, 2017. A graduate of Flathead High School in 1960, she attended Crest Elementary and Eastern Washington University. In 1961, Terry moved to Portland Oregon where she worked for Uhaul headquarters. Soon after, her life-long best friend and sister, Kate Heggan, joined Terry. The sophisticated duo shared a small apartment and lived on wine, cheese and crackers. The tow then moved to Seattle WA where Terry worked for Boeing. In 1963, Terry moved to Los Angeles where she met and married Thomas Guerrero. Blessed with three boys, Tom and Terry were very proud and loved them very much. In 1972, Terry, Tom and the boys moved to her hometown of Kalispell MT, where she worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years.

After retiring from the Post Office in 2005, Terry took up gardening and quilting. She had a green thumb and an eye for fabric. If you received a quilt from Terry, you are damn lucky.
