Terry L. Carr, 64, of Anita, Iowa, passed away Saturday morning, September 2, 2006, at his home.
Terry Lee Carr was born March 6, 1942, in Hampton, Iowa, the son of Marvin and Eileen (Archambault) Carr.
Terry grew up in Hampton, Iowa, and graduated from Hampton High School in 1960. He attended Westmar College and State College of Iowa, where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Education and History.
He was in the United States Army during Vietnam serving from December of 1963 to November of 1968, and was honorably discharged. In the Army, he was a Bulgarian Language Specialist and sharpshooter.
On April 14, 1978, Terry married Devon Ann Mardesen in Griswold, Iowa.
