Terry Boyd Overton, 59, passed away October 13, 2016 in Omaha, NE. Terry was born in Clark County, January 9, 1957 to Charley M. Overton and Ruby Smith Overton.
Terry attended Murray Schools and later graduated from Waynesville, MO. Terry later attended college at South Western Iowa Community in Creston, Iowa with a Farm Equipment Mechanical Degree. Terry was married to Patricia Louise Driskill in 1978, of this marriage was born a daughter Melissa Overton.
Terry had many enjoyable moments in life, he was dedicated to his family first, loved hunting and fishing, playing cards and everything about history he could learn. One of the most notable memory was that of his grandson Noah shooting a deer from over 300 yards.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, brother-in-law and best friend Raymond Vanderlinden, nephew Eric Vanderlinden, grandparents Floyd and Mae Smith, grandparents Marion and Lily Overton and father-in-law Don Driskill.
Terry leaves behind wife Patricia Overton, Daughter Melissa Overton, grandson Noah Myers, father and step-mother Charley (Patricia) Overton of Mingo, sisters Christy (Don) Noftsger of Colfax, Becky (Roger) Perrin of Mingo and Trish Overton of Mingo. Sisters-in-law Pam (Dick Wasson) Shields of Murray, Cathy (Randy) Crew of Lamoni, mother-in-law Louise Driskill and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
