Terry A Blackburn, age 65, of Jonesboro, IN, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN
He was the son of the late Claude V. Blackburn and Gladys M (Hasty)Blackburn who survives in Summitville.He was born in Marion, Indiana on February 17, 1948 and was a Summitville High School 1966 Graduate.He marriedBrenda Fields in Summitville on September 9, 1966.She survives in Jonesboro.Terry worked in production at Chrysler of Kokomo for 31 years retiring in 1997.
Terry enjoyed golf, fishing and traveling.He loved the beach and enjoyed spring break inFlorida and Myrtle Beach with his children and grandchildren.Along with his father and children, Terrydisassembled and moved a 1849 log cabin from Kentucky and rebuilt it in its current location and where he and Brenda reside.They hosted a yearly antique show on the grounds that attracted dealers, guests, and many who had become dear friends from as far awayas Canada.
He issurvived by his wife: Brenda Blackburn.
