Terri Sue Riffle, 42, of Clarksburg, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the home of Marsha Hostetter and with whom she made her residence following a long battle with cancer. She was born July 11, 1971 in Clarksburg; the daughter of the late Gilbert Carroll and Georgia Barker Carroll. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Hedrick, Alma Jean Lucas and Helen Carroll. She is survived by her husband, William Clarence Riffle; a son Whirl David Riffle and wife Christina Maria Brown Riffle; three grandchildren O’ryan Riffle, Octavia Riffle and O’marion Riffle all of Clarksburg. Also surviving are brothers, Michael Wayne Walker and wife Rita of Clarksburg, Howard Carroll of Ohio. Her sisters are Kim Victor and husband Frank, Tammy Stevens and husband Gary and Irene Crowley, all of Clarksburg, Hazel Hedrick of Alabama, nieces and nephews. Terri enjoyed being around her friends and loved making people laugh. She also enjoyed fishing and drawing. Left to cherish her memories are her friend Marsha Hostetter and children Tanna, Joey, McKenzie and Carl, Marsha was one of her caregivers. “Thanks for always being there for us.” She will be sadly missed by her friends Jenny Pierce, Mandy Riley, Sandy Garrett and Gene Ramsey and many more.
