Terrence Gerard Kurtzweil, 65, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 28, 1957 to Norbert and Betty (Neuman) Kurtzweil in Edgar, WI. Terrence was a 1975 graduate of Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH). He married the love of his life Mary Chojnacki on July 31, 1976.
He worked as a machine operator for over 20 years at Worzalla, Inc. in Stevens Point. He retired due to illness in 2020.
Terrence was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His passion was woodworking. He loved fishing, watching the bird feeders from the window, finding bare spots in his yard so he could fill them, and coming to the aid of anyone who needed him.
He is survived by his mother; wife; daughters: April (Jamie) Kemnitz, and Jennifer (Joshua) Strickland; son: James Kurtzweil; and granddaughters: Brianna and Taylor Kemnitz; and brothers: Steven (Kathy) Kurtzweil, Tim Kurtzweil, Greg (Karen) Kurtzweil, Larry (Mary) Kurtzweil, Jerry Kurtzweil.
Terrence was preceded in death by his father Norbert Kurtzweil; brothers: Howard and Richard; and sisters: Dyan Lopez Kurtzweil and Sarah Kurtzweil.
The family would like to thank the Aspirus Cancer Center doctors and staff. He lost his voice box due to cancer, and everyone there would wait patiently while he typed his questions. You all took the time to learn his unique way of speaking. We are forever grateful for you.
