Terrell (Terry) Jones Bailey passed away on Thursday morning, January 3, 2008 at his home with his family. He was born in Apex, North Carolina on July 4, 1934. He was the twin brother of Jerry Bailey and was the son of Lillian and Andrew Bailey. Terry was a life long resident of the Bay Leaf Community in North Raleigh.
Terry graduated from Millbrook High School in Raleigh and attended Campbell College. He was an active member for 73 years of Bay Leaf Baptist Church and retired from Wake Medical Center in 1999. He loved gardening and sharing his vegetables with his friends.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Jane Bailey; his son, Paul Bailey and wife, Fran Bailey of Raleigh; his two grandsons, Dru and Allen Bailey; his mother, Lillian Bailey; and his twin brother, Jerry Bailey and wife Lola Bailey.
