Terrell Smith affectionately known as “Truck” son of Helen P. Smith and the late Charles Hebron Jr. departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Howard County General Hospital. Terrell was born on Wednesday, April 5, 1975 at Prince George’s Hospital and raised in Glenarden Woods Maryland. Proceeded in death by Father; Charles Hebron, brother; Troy Smith and Nephew; Dawann Hebron.
Terrell was educated in the Prince George’s County Public School system and graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in 1992. He attended Queens Chapel United Methodist Church and sang in the Tiny Tots choir under the leadership of Ms. Virginia Holmes and the Children’s Choir under Cousin Lucille Gilbert and Charles (chucky) Matthews.
During Terrell’s childhood he loved being outside playing football with his cousins Brent, Reginald Marshall, being running backs on Cawker Avenue and Dellwood Avenue. He could not wait for the weekend to come and go to Muirkirk to play with his cousins/ playmates Tyrone Cooper and Cordell Jones. He was an avid die hard Redskin fan he and Troy loved to give Mike the blues about those Dallas Cowboys and they always hung out together and especially for the football Season games. Terrell shared a close bond with William Jones (Baldy), Cheryl Campbell (Foots), Myra Snowden (Crusty) Cordell Jones, Dawn Brown, Yolanda Hill and Dale Hebron always good times’ fun and laughter.
Terrell was employed with Prince George’s County Public School System until his death. He was truly a genuine person always there when you needed him “never said no” always a helping hand with a heart of gold. He was a lovingly devoted Father and Grandfather to his children and enjoyed every minute and moment of quality time spent with them. He loved his GoGo music, Junkyard Band, Northeast Groovers and BYB, dancing and singing.
Left to celebrate his life and to cherish his memory daughter: Teanna M. Smith; son: Terrell I. Smith; and granddaughter: Isabella Anerra Smith; Mother; Helen P. Smith; four Sisters: (Rene, Michelle, Tonya Smith and Terri Singleton; six brothers: Michael (Vikki) Smith, Charles (CoralAnn), Allen (Diane), William, Marvin and Rev. Devan Hebron; twenty five: Nieces and Nephews; Seven Aunts; Three Uncles; Godmother: Carolyn David; A Special bond with Tierra Smith, Breanna, Melody Martin and Damari Grant, A special friend Dionne Wilson. Along with a host of family and friends.
