Terrance “Ses” Sessoms passed away unexpectedly, with his family by his side on Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was born on April 2, 1971 in Middletown, CT where he resided for forty-seven years until recently moving to Manchester, CT.
After attending Middletown High School, he was enlisted in the U.S. Army until he was honorably discharged in 1999. He was employed at Spartan Aerospace, LLC in Manchester, CT for the past five years.
His greatest pride and love was for his family and friends. Ses met Jamie, the love of his life, at the early age of twenty-Two. The two shared twenty-five loving years together. He was a loving man with the kindest soul. He had such a light-hearted spirit and contagious laughter that put a smile on your face every time you saw him. He always smiled, joked, gave hugs, knuckles, or high-fives. Ses was also known for his loyalty, dependability, work ethic, positive attitude, and all-around character. He loved playing softball, attending functions with his club, and watching the Yankees. Many say he was a quiet man but that is because they didn’t let him speak.
He will long be remembered and missed deeply.
He is survived by his loving wife Jamie Fuentes-Sessoms, his daughters Amalia Sessoms and Taquinis Sessoms, his son Yaamal Jackson, and his grandson Zyaire Sessoms. He also leaves his mother Shirley Sessoms, his father Erving Lawrence, his brothers Ja-Kese Sessoms, Jermaine Lawrence, and Kareen Belin, his aunt Sheila Newsome who was like a mom to him, many aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends, and his Ruthless brotherhood.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hartford Hospital for their care during his final hours.
