Terold Lane “Big Ted” Reed was a resident of McIntosh. He peacefully passed away in his sleep at home Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021. Terold was born Dec. 9, 1989 to Terold Williams and Sandra Reed.
A student from McIntosh High School, he played football and basketball. Terold was a proud honor graduate of McIntosh High School in the Class of 2008.
Terold attended Alabama A&M University and later joined the workforce at Amvac Chemical. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and the Youth and Adult Choir.
A fun loving person, he lived his life to the fullest. He met no strangers, he loved everyone. He was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back. Terold was a devoted son and brother.
Proceeding him in death was his father, Terold Williams.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving mother, Sandra Reed of McIntosh; grandmother, Sarah Ann Williams of Mt. Vernon; brother, Tevin Williams of McIntosh; sisters, Davia Lang of McIntosh and Terica (Keith) Williams of Mt Vernon; aunts, Kathlyn Savage of Axis, Gloria Mitchell and Loretta (Joseph) Benjamín, both of McIntosh, Hester (Christopher) Joseph of Semmes, Lueverta Reed of Detroit, Mich., and Michelle (Paul) Thomas of Chickasaw; uncles, Albert ( Melissa) Reed, Charles (Gloria Collins) Reed and Jerry Lewis ( Trina Barnes) Reed, all of McIntosh, Marlon (Kimalishia) Williams of Theodore and Arthur (Eva) Reed of Axis; devoted friends, Shaquille Scott and Kevilon Collins; and a host of family and friends.
