Teresa “Terry” Somerville Nelson, 86, the beloved wife of the late Harold F. Nelson, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1995, died Saturday, November 18, 2017, at her home.
Terry will be lovingly remembered by her children Elizabeth Ann Hicks (Ted, deceased) of Lewes, DE; Harold “Rick” (Margaret) Nelson of Atlanta, GA., Mary Jo (Dean) Doody of Middletown, MD, Norine (William) Martin of Washougal WA., and grandchildren Kristen, Katelyn and Thomas (Hicks); Christina, Theresa, Cassie and Ricky (Nelson); Justin and Eric (Doody); Nelson, Harrison, Carson, and Madison (Martin) and her great grandchildren Charlie, Molly and Ford.
Terry graduated from Georgian Court University. She was a teacher and librarian before becoming a full time mother. She was president of the Rosary Society in Mountainside, NJ, was an avid golfer, enjoyed travelling with her family and friends, and was a member of P.E.O. in Fort Wayne, IN and Atlanta, GA.
