Teresa Salerno of 75 Washington Ave., Hamden entered into eternal rest Feb. 22, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Matteo and Frances Salerno. She was a longtime employee of YaleUniversity. She is survived by two brothers, Jerry (Rose) Salerno and Vincent Salerno, both of Hamden; a sister in law, Lorraine Salerno of Orange; nieces & nephews, Frances S. Fanesi, Matthew J., Noble John, Matthew D. and Jennifer Salerno; great nieces & nephews, Monica R. Fanesi, Christina, Nicholas, Frank, Hannah & Ferras Salerno; as well as her faithful caregivers, Iona Broomfield and Nadia Salters. She was predeceased by a brother, Noble J. Salerno and a sister in law, Phyllis Salerno.
