Teresa Marie Johnson was born on July 7, 1980 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. Teresa attended public schools in Montgomery County, Maryland, and graduated from Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland in 1998. After graduation, she worked to support herself and finance her education. She first studied at Montgomery Community College then moved forward to obtain her B.S. in Business Administration from Bowie State University in
2006. She continued her studies obtaining her Masters of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University in 2010.
Teresa began her career as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with CVS Pharmacy while in high school. Post graduation, she worked in the pharmacy at Giant Food, Inc., in Gaithersburg, Maryland until she relocated to Ohio. In Ohio, Teresa continued her career on the business side of the pharmaceutical industry as a Business Systems Analyst for Progressive-Medical, Inc. Teresa then found opportunity for advancement as a Business Systems Analyst/Serum Master working at Thirty-One Gifts in Columbus, Ohio. Aside from reaching all of her professional goals, Teresa’s proudest achievement was being a mother to Kayla. Teresa became a Certified Baby Planner to share her love of motherhood with others. She founded her own business, The Mama Mosaic LLC, to help other expectant moms navigate their pregnancies.
Teresa met her soulmate, Ryan, while attending a dance with her sister on the campus of The Ohio State University. Story has it that both Teresa and Ryan had to be convinced to attend the event. While their love story would have them separated for a few years, Teresa and Ryan reconnected in 2005. In 2007, they returned to the Ohio State campus, this time as part of an elaborate engagement Ryan had planned.
