Teresa Mae Stephens, 73, of Newark, AR, passed away, April 14, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Batesville, AR on February 15, 1946, daughter of Henry Clinton and Mae Nell (Hargrove) Clark. Teresa spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was united in marriage to Columbus “Dub” Webster Stephens on February 26, 1965 in Sulphur Rock, AR. Teresa spent her working years in the hospital industry with White River Medical Center in the surgery department. She was a member of Quail Valley Freewill Baptist Church. Teresa loved to read and watch old western movies.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Dub Stephens of Newark, AR; daughter, Karen Gambill (Gary) of Jonesboro, AR; son, Christopher Stephens (Tressia) of Rainbow City, AL; grandchildren: Tim Hogan II, Jonesboro, AR, Christopher W. (Linley) Stephens, II, Gadsden, AL, Phillip T. (Nikki) Stephens, Oneonta, AL, Thomas H. Gambill, Jonesboro, AR, and Michael B. (Amber) Stephens, Rainbow City, AL. great-grandchildren: Zane Nash Stephens, Oneonta, AL, and Avabella Grace Stephens, Rainbow City, AL; sister, Henrietta Turner, Batesville, AR, brother, Aaron Clark, Southside, AR; two nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mae Nell Clark.
