Teresa Marie Knauss (80), a longtime Moscow resident, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, of cancer, at her home in Moscow surrounded by her family. Terry was born October 8, 1935 in South Amboy, NJ to Edward and Margaret O’Brien. While attending Seattle University, she met Robert F Helbling. They were married in Seattle in 1957 and later moved to Moscow to raise their family. They were married ten years until his death. In 1973, she married Donald R Knauss. During their 36 years of marriage together, Don and Terry shared in raising children and growing their local businesses.
