Teresa M. Reed, 58, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 in Pensacola, Florida. She was born in Washington, Indiana on November 3, 1958 to Charles and Hazel (Terrell) Maryfield. She married her loving husband, Mike Reed on December 17, 1989.
Teresa worked at the Department of Defense as a civilian employee until her retirement in 2013. She was a member of the Crane Credit Union Board of Directors, Federally Employed Women, Federal Managers Association, American Society of Naval Engineers, Am Vets, and American Legion Post #18 of Bloomington and she was a past Statistics Professor at Oakland City University. Teresa had a strong passion for the beach and the ocean, where she spent her final days. Her first priority was her family and she was happiest when her house was full.
Survivors include: her husband, Mike Reed of Bloomington; one daughter, Lori (David) Kahl of Bloomington; three sons, Mitch (Megan) Holland of Bloomington, Dirk (Lisa) Reed of Plainville and Andy (Liana) Reed of Odon; eleven grandchildren, Austin, Dalton, Ashley, Benjamin, Baby Bean, Dane, Paige, Sydnie, Katie, Lexi and Tanner; one great-granddaughter, Evelyn; her father, Charles Maryfield, of Odon and one brother, Roger Maryfield of California.
Teresa was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Maryfield.
