Teresa Lillian Espinoza passed from this life on February 20, 2016. She was born in Dallas, Texas, on November 14, 1964, to Ruben and Guadalupe Pizaña. Her stepfather Santos Areyano helped raise her after her father passed away when she was two. She was known for her keen sense of humor, her crazy laugh, and a smile that would light up the room. You would know she was really tickled when she laughed so hard that it sounded like she was on the verge of passing out.

Teresa was a collector of many things. Her five minutes of fame came when she appeared on the TV show “Storage Hunters.” She loved to play Bingo and her kids have fond memories of her taking them with her to go play. She loved the holidays – every holiday. She would always decorate the house for each and every holiday. If there was an inflatable for that holiday, it would adorn her yard. She loved bright colors, but her favorites were purple and lime green.

Teresa was a certified Child Development Specialist. She was a straight-A student and received her Child Development Assocociates certificate at Brookhaven College. She loved working with all children and was great at what she did; a God-given gift.

Teresa was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, cousin, niece, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She was strict when she needed to be with her kids, but she always made sure they had everything they ever needed and wanted. She was selfless; always spending her money on others.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Efrain Espinoza; her son, Roy Ramos and his fiancée Anna Faz; her daughter, Guadalupe Yolanda Espinoza; her niece who she raised as a daughter, Crystal Vanessa Duran; her grandchildren: Nicolas Roy Ramos, Nicole Ann Ramos, and Steven Andrew Kubota; and her brother, Andrew Steven Makintubee and his wife Jeannie. Teresa joins in heaven, her parents; her sister, Celia Elizabeth Pizaña; and her son, Steven Andrew Espinoza.
