Teresa Jo (Davis) Wilson, 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away at her residence on Monday, September 5, 2022.
Teresa was born July 7, 1956 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Leon and Josephine (Owens) Davis. She was Native American and loved and embraced everything about her heritage and culture.
Teresa married the love of her life, Garry Wilson, in 1973. She enjoyed shopping at yard sales, going outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. She had a passion for nature and loved everything about birds, racoons, and all wildlife and had a huge love of cats.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Garry Wilson of Indianapolis, IN; her daughter, Jennifer Lynn (Randy Short) Hill of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Terrance Zinnerman and Gabriel Hill; two great-grandchildren, Terrance Zinnerman III and Teegan Zinnerman; two sisters, Linda Cox of Arizona and Martha (Mike) Pierce of Shelbyville, IN; three brothers, Leon (Mary) Davis of Monrovia, IN, Donnie Davis of Illinois, and Kenny (Vickey) Davis of New Castle, IN.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Josephine Davis, and a sister, Mary Lou Synder.
