Teresa Gray Stone Palma, 64 of Concord passed away peacefully at home on sunday, June 19, 2016. Born in Charlotte on March 14, 1952, Teresa was the daughter of the late Talley and Mildred Lowder Stone. Ms. Palma had been employed as a record supervisor for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Besides her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by a her sister Nancy.
She is survived by her two children, Brent Palma of West Chester, Ohio and Melissa Palma of Concord; grandchildren Alexis, Ava, Chloe, and Chance. Also surviving are her siblings Carol and Ted Cormier of Harrisburg, Frances and Dennis Smith of Concord, and several nieces and nephews.
Teresa was the best mother and grandmother in the world. She was so very strong and fought hard against the cancer that claimed her life. She is now at home with the Lord. Mom loved her family and is now reunited with her parents, sister, grandparents, and her beloved cocker spaniels Rascal, Rusty and Chubbles.
