She is survived by her three children, Alesha Salahuddin (Majid) of Fayetteville NC, Melinda Ricks of Columbia, SC and one son, John Ricks of Columbia, SC. Ten grandchildren, Jason, Jada, Jakea, Majid Jr. (MJ), Jazmin, Janae, Janelle, Ja-Von, Jaron and Janasia; One brother Alexander Thomas, Jr. of Stonewall, NC and one sister Linda Freeman (Lloyd) of Hope Mils, NC; Two nephews, Gerald Thomas of Hope Mills, NC and Shawn Bell of Lumberton, NC; Two great nephews, Jamarien and Jamarcus Freeman of Hope Mills, NC; One niece Kimberly Freeman of Hope Mills, NC; Three uncles Artis Jenkins (Glennie) of Stonewall, NC, Carl Jenkins (Louise) of Hampton, VA and William Thomas of Stonewall, NC; Two aunts Myrtle Avery of Stonewall, NC, and Mary Robinson of Washington, DC; a host of relatives and friends.
Teresa attended the Pamlico County School system.
Graduated with the class of “67”. She continued her education at Cortez Business School in Washington, D.C. where she graduated with a 2 year Business Degree.
