Teresa Aileen Jensby of Fairbury formerly Hebron, NE the daughter of Leo and Nellie (Caton) Keeler was born August 18, 1911 at Davenport, NE. She departed this life Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Heritage Care Center in Fairbury, NE at the age of 100 years.
She was baptized in 1924 and confirmed January 8, 1950.
Teresa grew up and attended school in the Davenport area graduating from Davenport High School with the class of 1929. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Jensby on February 24, 1931 in Belleville, KS, this union was blessed with the birth of five children. Teresa and Lawrence farmed near Ruskin, NE before moving to Nelson in 1974 where she was a care giver to the elderly and worked at the Nelson Nursing Home and also at the Superior Hospital and then moved to Hebron in 1978 to be closer to their daughter Sharon.
They were members of Bethany Lutheran Church in Ruskin and later joined Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron, NE.
Teresa enjoyed quilting, baking coconut cream and raisin cream pies, chocolate cake, fresh baked bread and dressing her own chickens.
