Mother Bouldin was born in Limestone County, Alabama on April 11, 1925 to the late Mack and Eliza Malone Lane. She was called home to rest on Sunday, February 17, 2013.

She attended Beulahland School in Limestone County, Alabama. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and joined Springhill M.B. Church where she was a faithful member of the Mother Board.

Tempia was united in Holy Matrimony to the late James Bouldin. She was loved by many. Whenever you asked her how she felt she would say “fine thank the Lord.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son; Bobby Bouldin; three brothers, Wilson Garrison, C. J. Williams and James Williams; two sisters, Essie Burt and Bessie Mclin; and one grandchild, Faith Pickett.

She leaves to cherish her memory: eight daughters, Maxine Williams of Louisville, Kentucky, Gloria Russell, Queen Maclin, Faye Harris (Theodore), Lottie Tucker, Eliza Metcalf (Eric), Loutecia Pickett (Rev. Willie), all of Decatur, Willie Swoopes (Buster) of Lawton, Oklahoma; two sons, Clarence Bouldin and Clyde Bouldin both of Decatur; one stepson, Robert Bouldin of Buffalo, New York; one brother, Mountree Williams of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Mattie Williams and Catherine Williams of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, John Benny Mclin of Tanner; 29 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 17 great- great grandchildren; special caregiver, Clarence Williams, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
