Telesforo De La Cruz passed away June 8, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on January 6, 1934 in Quezon City, Philippines to Melencio and Paula De La Cruz.

Telesforo was a Jeepney driver, school bus owner and operator and was an amazing baker and cook. He owned and cooked at his bakery and Karinderia in the Phillippines. He worked for 20 years as a cook in the USA at Southlake Nursing Home. He enjoyed sharing his food with all  his family and friends. When he was not making delicious food he spent his time fishing.

He was preceded in death by his son, Arnel De La Cruz; brothers, Banlog De La Cruz, Domingo De La Cruz, and Viyong De La Cruz and friends, Francisco Arguilla, Jay Palompo, Azon Palompo, Arturo Legaspi and Miling Legaspi.

Telesforo is survived by his loving family, wife, Batis Villena De La Cruz; sons, Antonio (Carolyn) De La Cruz and Cesar (Susan) De La Cruz; daughter, Leah Bell (Donald Dzaboff); grandchildren, Carol Ann (Robert) Waterman, Diandra (Jerrold) McCann, Alyssa (Jaymz) Johnson, Czarine (Alfredo) Mendiola, Bamie (Eduard) Gilman, Cesar (Remelyn) De La Cruz, Jr., Arhnelie (Francis) Vergara, Kaye Ann De La Cruz, Yvan De La Cruz and Aleah Bell; great-grandchildren, Fletcher Waterman, Gwendolyn Waterman, Sydney McCann, Julia McCann, Aziel Mendiola, Adriel Mendiola, Briana Gilman, Kirk Gilman, Nylemer De La Cruz, Andrea Vergara, Amanda Vergara and Amani Vergara; brothers, Apeng De La Cruz, Juan De La Cruz, Ramos De La Cruz and Crispin De La Cruz; sister, Tarciana Perez and friends, balae Veronica M.
