Teena Kay Wilson Wright, 64, of Windwood Court, Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington with her family around her.
Born August 31, 1953, in Mt. Sterling, she was a daughter of the late Carl Bush Wilson and Dorothy Hayes Wilson.
Teena is survived by her husband of 32 years, Steve Wright; one son, Tyer Rankin of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Tanah McGuffey of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Kaiden Rankin, Gage McGuffey and Piper McGuffey; one brother, Brent (Sharon) Wilson of Mt. Sterling; three nieces, Kristy (Ray) Hatton, Tiffany (Kevin) Cornett, and Brittany Wilson; two great nephews, Maxwell and Wilson Hatton; two great nieces, Annabel Wilson and Ava Brent Cornett; and mother-in-law, Carole Sue Wright of Frenchburg.
Teena graduated from Morehead State University with a major in psychology and earned a degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University.
