Teddy F. Davis, age 95 of Horner, WV, passed away on September 10, 2016 at his home in Horner, WV with his family by his side.Formerly of Clarksburg, he was born in Meadowbrook, August 2 1921 to the late Harold E. and Lovey Vanscoy Davis.
Teddy is survived by his wife, Nancy Ann Davis of Horner, WV; four daughters, Shelia and Jim Green, Doris and Anthony Allevato, Lavonne and Howard Sparks, Sr, all of Clarksburg; Teddie and Paul Steiding of Mt. Clare; one step-daughter, Janine and Erwin Voros of Chandler, Arizona; four grandsons, Jimmy and David Allevato, Howard L. Sparks, Jr., Kagen Steiding; four granddaughters, Beth Bennett, Toni Green, Lacey Sheets, Teth Peiffley; three step-granddaughters, Heather Bartholomew, Stephanie Parson, Emily Voros; one step-grandson, Ricky Hudkins; eleven great-grandchildren, Cole and Katee Fisher, Mia Kulick, Jimi Sheets, Christian, Jagger, Madison Allevato; Keyera Sparks, Marcus Peiffely, Tyson and Colton Steiding, one brother, Jimmy Davis of Arizona, three sisters, Bette and Raymond Mallow of Keyser, WV, Marie and Bill Gardner of Inwood, WV. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Jean Bias Davis; two brothers, Harold E. Davis, Jr., Donnie Davis; five sisters, Kathleen Moore, Margorie Moore, Gay Halsel, Lima June and Edna Davis, one half-sister, Rosetta Whitehair; three step-children, Marla Parson, Cara Jean Bartholomew, Kevin Bartholomew.
Teddy worked in a CCC Camp in Oregon before entering the United States Army to fight in WWII. He was a BAR man where he was wounded and captured during the Battle of the Bulge. He is an EX-POW and received a Purple Heart and three Bronze Stars. He worked for Franklin D.
