Mr. Ted W. Welch, age 69, of Valley, AL passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
Mr. Welch is survived by his three children, Jim (Benita) Gunnells of Cusseta, AL, Todd Hoskins of Irvine, CA, and Chris Cagle of Texas; his sister, Ann (Gene) Berry of Beulah, AL; his two nieces, Carly Pendergrass and Kimberly Cook; and his nephew, Jason Welch.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffany Welch Greene; his brother, Eddie Welch; his mother, Mary Ann Shockley; his step-father, Joe Shockley; and his father, Edward Welch.
Mr. Welch was born on December 7, 1946 in Chambers County, AL. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shawmut. He was a decorated U.S. Army veteran, who served in the Vietnam War.
