Ted Gerstner, 76, of Hudson, Colorado died on August 8, 2015, in Lafayette, Colorado.
Ted was born in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, to Mike and Madeline (Billinger) Gerstner in March of 1939. One of twelve children, Ted grew up in and attended schools in Cheyenne Wells before joining the U.S. Navy. He met and married Linda (Sackett) in Cheyenne Wells and together they shared 55 years of marriage, raising their two children; Leanne and Vince.
Ted was a proud member of the Teamsters Union, but was most proud of his family. He treasured his family and cherished his time with family at get together’s and reunions. He had a remarkable sense of humor and was well liked by a large circle of loyal friends. Ted was always a thoughtful and charitable man.
Ted was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife Linda, children; Leanne and Vince as well as 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
