Ted H. Coxey, age 73, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, died Saturday at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Gastonia, North Carolina, Mr. Coxey moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1998 from Homestead, FL. A retired veteran of the United States Air Force, he served as an aircraft mechanic and photographer and was stationed in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. He went on to manage and retire from Pioneer Pontiac in Homestead. Mr.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia, a son Mark of New Smyrna Beach, 2 daughters, Cheryl and her husband Michael Regina and Kim and her husband Tom Tyus, both of Homestead, a sister, Freida Roberts of Dallas, North Carolina, and three grandchildren, Sarah Daigle of Orlando and Alexandra and Jared Coxey of New Smyrna Beach.
