Tawanda M Boone, 57 of Houston, TX, retired Data Entry, and church servant died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at home surrounded by family. Tawanda was born on August 10, 1961, in East St. Louis, Illinois. She was born unto are Joan Hutto and Joseph Cooper II; along with sister Tracy Boone and brother Joseph Cooper III. Tawanda and family moved to Houston, TX in 1962, where she continued her education at the proud blue and gold Forest Brook high school CO/80. Throughout her whole career, Tawanda worked for The City of Houston Police Department from June 23, 1980 and retired April 1, 2015. Tawanda has three beautiful daughters Porscha, Ashley and Dionne Boone; followed by three wonderful granddaughters Aliyah, Carly and Ja’nearia. Tawanda loved serving at her church home, Inspire Church, with the Kids Ministry. She started attending this church home in 2003 where she considered the entire Inspire Church congregation her Second family.
