Tatiana LaTrice Rustin, “POPCORN”, 33, was born on April 19, 1987 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended The Pacers Academy.
Tatiana was a stay at home mom that cherished her time with her children and their friends. She worked at Meijer Grocery in the produce department and was a smiling face to all her customers. She loved to cook and experiment with different recipes. Her favorite was Chicken Alfredo and it was “off the chain”. Her biscuits and gravy were flaky and perfectly buttery.. Oh my… Tatiana loved animals from the time she was a child. She once found a baby rabbit that was injured and was determined to tend to the rabbit’s care. She was a person that would help anyone in need and became fast friends with anyone that came her way. Popcorn was always the “life of the party” and the turn-up queen, ready for whatever came her way. Tatiana would want to be remembered with a warm smile and the sound of laughter. Not with tears of pain but with tears of joy.
Tatiana went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by: grandparents: Annie Gillispie, Larry Collins, Ann E. Rustin, and Fred D. Rustin Jr.; stepfather: Kelvin Oatts; uncle: Billie Collins; aunts: Eula Rush and Sharleen Hammack.
She leaves to cherish her memory: parents: Sylvia Dianne Oatts(Rex Cork) and Fred D, Rustin III(Amy Rustin); children: Takiyla Lovett, Tobias Lovett, Tiaire Lovett; siblings: Fred Rustin, Georgia Rustin, Collin Rustin, Charity Rustin, Kelvin Drake; long time domestic partner: Ray Miller; aunts and uncles: Robert Gillispie(Becky), Rosa Daniels(Ken), Sallye Rustin, Lisa Crockett; first cousins: Amy, Christopher, Carrie, Cheyenne, Bridgett, Ikie, Angela, Ann, Cindy, Steven, Sherman, Tynessia, Alexis, Michael, Chantel and a host of family and friends.
