Tate Edward (Eddie) Ingram passed away peacefully after a short illness on July 3, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA with his loving wife, Lora (Philbeck) Ingram, by his side.

Eddie was born in Ballground, GA in 1937. He spent four years (1955-59) in the US Air Force as an airplane mechanic. After that, he moved to Richmond, IN where he worked for Wells Pontiac and Studebaker Buick as Service Manager.

Eddie was most known for his goofy sense of humor and his big shining smile! If you knew Eddie, he was always one for a good joke, and a cold beer. Eddie loved the Lord most of all. Also, golf, animals, (especially dogs), the beach and shrimp. Survivors

include the love of his life for the past 40 years, Lora Ingram, three daughters; Missy (Ingram) Barker of Richmond, IN, Tracy (Ingram) Stevens of Richmond, IN, and Tammy Ingram of Colquitt, GA. He has six beautiful grandchildren, one of whom is deceased. As well, several great grandchildren. He is also survived by his two furry kids, Lillie and Maggie, who absolutely adored Eddie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Effie and Tate Ingram, and three brothers Grady Ingram, JC Ingram, and Hubert Gilreath.
