Tamya Lasser Thomas-Smullen, daughter of the late Teresa Oddessa Stewart-Butler and the late Larry Thomas Sr. also her step-father whom she cherished, the late Ellsworth Butler, Sr.  Tamya went to home to be with the Lord on Wednesday,

March 18, 2015.

“Tammy” as she was known, received her education through the Dorchester County Public School System.  

Tammy was once employed by Sea Watch in Milford, DE, Koski Trucking in Hurlock, MD, and Solo Cup Company in Federalsburg, MD.

Tammy really enjoyed laughing & having a good time, playing spades, cooking, & helping people when she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Kim Stewart, her sister, Monteray Holden, and her maternal grandmother, Golden Stewart.  

Tammy leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Orville Smullen of Seattle, WA, two daughters, Latonya Batson (Calvin) and TyEsha Bailey both of Federalsburg, MD and one son, Donald Collins Jr. of Seaford, DE. Six grandchildren, Tyniqua Batson, Ceyaira Batson, Da’Jah Batson and T’Isiah Batson, all of Federalsburg, MD. DaShawn Collins and Kyleigh Presock of Seaford, DE. Four sisters, Conchita Thomas of Federalsburg, MD, Vanessa Thomas-Hamilton (Derrick) of Wilmington, DE, Vernita Thomas of Wilmington, DE and Sharonda Butler of Bridgeville, DE. Two brothers Montezell Thomas of Seaford, DE and Ellsworth Butler Jr. of Federalsburg, MD, her grandmother, Mabel Butler of Hurlock, MD and a special friend, Leslie Greene of Federalsburg, MD and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
