Tamra Layne Rauzi
August 4, 1961 – May 2, 2016
Our dear daughter, sister, and friend finished her journey here on earth. She passed away after a long struggle with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin.
Tamra was born August 4, 1961 in Ogden, Utah to Ernest Robert (Bob) and JoAnn Berg Rauzi. She was raised in Farr West and attended Weber County schools graduating from Weber High. She then attended and graduated from Utah State University. She served a LDS Mission to Sacramento, California. Following her mission, she continued her education and earned a Master’s degree in counseling. She worked many years in Davis County schools and at the IRS.
She loved crocheting, sewing, tatting, cooking, and collecting antiques. She loved to travel. Some of her favorite trips were: New York with her students, family trips to the cabin and cruises.
She leaves behind her loving mother JoAnn; her sisters, Sandy (Brian) Wandling, Connie (Ken) Brown, Debbie Fojtek; brother, Robbie (Shaylyn) Rauzi and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Robert Rauzi and her brother-in-law Daryl Fojtek.
The family expresses sincere thanks to many relatives, friends, and the care givers at IMC in Murray, Utah.
