Tammy Wynette Pendleton transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, February 17, 2019 while at the Grove Hill Memorial Hospital in Grove Hill, AL.  Born April 4, 1971 to Cleveland and Martha Pendleton Hunt, she was forty-seven years of age.  She gave her life to Christ, uniting with the First Baptist Church in Whatley, AL, where she served faithfully until her health failed.   She was a Class of 1990 graduate of Clarke County High School.  Kind, loving, free spirited, and strong woman are just a few befitting words that describe a wonderful woman who was truly loved by family and many, many friends.

Preceding her in death are her father, Cleveland Hunt; grandparents, Rosetta and Truman Pendleton, Sara Lee and John Lee Calhoun, and Johnny Chapman; and Goddaughter, Ka’miya Frowner.

Tammy leaves to forever cherish her precious memories her three children, Markesis (Tia) Calhoun, Ciara (Jamarcus) Pendleton, and Jorwayne Robinson, Jr., all of Whatley, AL; seven grandchildren, Taliyah Clarke, Jiaya Calhoun, Markell Calhoun, Markivian Kimbrough, Khalii Rose McMillian, Brayden Robinson, and Bryson Robinson; her mother, Martha Hunt, Whatley, AL; three sisters, Lisa Hunt, Whatley, AL, Gwendolyn (Clarence) Hicks, and Chiquila Hunt both of Toledo, OH; two brothers, Mike (Kengie) Davis, Grove Hill, AL, and Michael Pugh; a wonderful God-mother, Wynette Bivins, Whatley, AL; three Godsisters, Marie (Willie) Chapman, Toddtown, AL, Christine Foster, and Sharon Foster, Grove Hill, AL; one God-brother, Mario Horn, Whatley, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including devoted, Geral Barnett, Rosa Clarke, Sharon Vallare, Tonya Lynn Ezell, Sherri Cody, and Jennifer Pendleton.
