Tammy L. (Smith) Franklin, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2021 at her residence.
She was born December 5, 1968 in Lafayette, to the late Robert L. and Wanda J. (Clark) Smith.
Tammy attended Jefferson High School. On, February 27, 1999, she married Craig S. Franklin in Lafayette.
Tammy enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, camping, most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching murder mysteries and paranormal.
Surviving are husband, Craig Franklin of Lafayette, daughter, Kayla Gill (Tim Lamberg), daughter, Miranda Belzer (Brandon), daughter, Karlie Lewis (Eric), son, Skyler Franklin, son, Blaike Franklin (Nancy), daughter, Alicia Hall (Jason), sister, Deborah D. Hardesty (Mickey Lumley) brother, Robert Smith (Jeannette), sister, Cathy Reitz (Michael). Also, her grandchildren, Raymond, Chase, Carson, Michael, Rayven, Lilliana, Brandon jr and a granddaughter on the way. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Tammy was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Grace Franklin.
