Tammy Jo Cook, 61, of Rigby, passed on August 10, 2020.
Tammy was born February 11, 1959, in Rigby, Idaho, to Jediah Floyd “Bud” Hathaway and Pamala Daylene Hathaway. She grew up in Rigby, graduated from Rigby High School, and completed her nurse’s training through the Eastern Idaho Vo-Tech. She also attended Idaho State University.
Tammy married her loving wife, Terry Cook, on May 21, 2016, and they made their home in Jefferson County. Tammy loved her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. The fire pit outside the home in the yard was blessed with many fond memories.
Tammy worked in many nursing roles and was a kind, compassionate, caregiver. After working for several facilities in Southeastern Idaho, Tammy went on the road as a traveling nurse for several years. She took her skills to several different states and gained experience from each facility she supported.
Tammy is survived by her loving wife, Terry; daughter, Tyanna Coffey; son, Cameron Hall; granddaughter, Katelyn Carney; grandson, Jayden Wellard; brother, Terry Hathaway (Valerie); and sister, Tracy Wilson (Mark). Tammy was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Trina Hathaway; and her brother, Tony Hathaway (Tammi).
