Tammie Michelle Chamberlain Gumm, 47, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, in Des Moines. Upon her passing, Tammie was able to save three individuals with her donation of life. Tammie was born March 6, 1974, in Panama City, FL, to Michael and Judith (Coe) Chamberlain. She married Jamie Gumm on August 25, 2001.
Tammie was a cheerleader all four years at East High School and participated in dance her whole youth. She worked for Northwest Bank upon graduating for many years. She then worked in the cafeteria for Des Moines Public Schools for some time. Over the years, she worked as a part-time clerk after having her children.
She enjoyed being outdoors, mostly at the beach, but she also liked to ride motorcycles. Tammie loved all kinds of music and was known for her makeup and hairstyles. She was a great cook who liked to explore new recipes and make the dishes her family always made. Her true loves were her children and her granddaughter.
Tammie is survived by her husband, Jamie Gumm; daughters, Lexie Gumm, Anna Gumm; son, Ian Gumm; brothers, Reed Chamberlain, David Chamberlain, Rod (Lovie) Chamberlain; grandchild, Mila Gumm; her parents, Michael and Judith Chamberlain; as well as many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
