Torrington –Rice – Tamara “Tammy” Lynn Rice, 43, formerly of Winsted, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at her home. She was the devoted wife of Warren Rice for six years. Born February 6, 1976 in Winsted; the loving daughter of Carole (Canty) Casey and her fiancé Joe of NY and the late Thomas R. White. Tammy loved Mickey mouse collectibles, watching movies and her tigers. Her passion were her three cats, Harley, Snickers and BooBoo. In addition to her husband, she leaves her three children, Samantha Sloan, John Sloan and Brittany Derosiers; half brothers and sister, Charles Spear, Timothy Spear and April Spear; several step brothers, step sisters; aunts, uncles nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Spear.
