Tam Wingler, 93, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Gordon Hospice House.
He was born in Wilkes County, North Carolina on March 31, 1920 to the late Elijah and Levia Wingler. He worked most of his life as a carpenter.
He is survived by his children Reta Lorene Hobbs (Charlie) of Troutman, Jerry Wingler of Statesville, Leroy Wingler of Statesville, Dale Wingler (Wanda) of Statesville, and Mark Wingler (Ann) of Statesville; his brother Jack Wingler of Kannapolis; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Grey Barker Wingler, one sister and 10 brothers.
