PINE MEADOW / NEW HARTFORD – KAMINSKY – Stephen T. “Tac” Kaminsky, 59, passed away peacefully after a year long battle with cancer at his home surrounded by loved ones and his surviving brother and caretaker, Robert “Bob” Kaminsky. Tac was born on April 30, 1962 in Pine Meadow; the son of the late John and Mary Ann (Carlino) Kaminsky. Tac graduated from Regional #7 High School in 1980 and then worked at Inertia Dynamics until recently when he left for medical leave. He leaves many longtime friends after 40 years of employment there. He was an avid sports fan. He loved watching the NY Giants and Red Sox and sipping his baccardi and coke. In addition to his brother, Bob of Winsted, he leaves a nephew, Scott Tamminen of New Hartford; many cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, John and Peter Kaminsky; his longtime love. Sheila Weber; many uncles, aunts and cousins.
